Mexico – Snow paralyzes roads, airports and schools:

9 Dec 2017 – Snowfall in northern states Coahuila, Chihuahua and Nuevo Leon, forced closure of some highways on Friday morning as the roads were covered with snow, resulting in a danger for motorists. There is also cancellation of flights and classes.

Conditions are likely to persist because the CDMX predicted temperatures from 0 to 5 degrees for the weekend

In Chihuahua, the State Civil Protection Unit reported that the first flights at the Chihuahua and Juarez airports were suspended and some road sections remain closed due to snowfall.

Education authorities suspended classes in the capital, Chihuahua, and in the municipalities of Balleza, Guachochi, Cuauhtémoc and Parral, due to the snowfall.
