My old man was stationed next to this during WW2 to support the “Air Brifge”, and he talked about Hekla’s reputation of unexpected explosiveness with respect.

I recall Surtsey erupting out of the sean in the sixties with a big blast.

Not long to wait for Mount St.Helens to make its presence felt again.

The most studied seismological fault line in the world. The Sun & Moon are new arrivals to this planet???? Doh!

The USGS, like NASA, dishes out disinformation like MSM, most recently renowned for removing all historical (over 24 hours) data of Yellowstone tremor activity from its website.

So this must have a smell of incredulity. What else could be interfering with our tectonic plates I wonder? Or is my cynicism reaching new heights?
