Haven’t read the book myself, but have been told it works.
And it should, as it is recommending a vegan diet. (However many vegans still eat a lot of crap.)
There are many herbs that help cure diabetes (Hope this book is well translated from German into English):
I recommend to slowly increase the raw food portion in your diet through salads (with sprouts), green smoothies, vegetable (green) juices.
You can make raw vegan crackers and bread in the dehydrator.
Still have to educate yourself, as raw foodies make many mistakes, like eating tons of avocados, nuts and desert.
I also do NOT recommend 80/10/10.
I recommend the following kitchen tools …
a Vitamix high speed blender,
an Omega (single auger or twin gear) juicer (which is especially good for veggies and greens)
and an Excalibur or a Sedona dehydrator.
If you find that accidentally the best price for your new kitchen tool is on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de, then you can support the website by visiting Amazon through the affiliate links provided below the donate button (just have to change the setting from books to all departments). The price you pay will be the same, but the website will earn some money through the referral.
