As Deadline Passes, Hong Kong Pro-Democracy Protesters Attacked By “Pro-Government” Mob (131 Injured) – Caught On Tape (ZeroHedge, Oct 3, 2014):

UDPATE: AP reports, Hong Kong protesters shelve talks with government after mob tries to drive them from streets.

It appears the government’s “wait-’em-out” tactic is working (optically) as The WSJ reports, angry crowds (of pro-government gangs) descended on pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong on Friday, causing clashes and threatening to derail talks with the government. After Leung’s refusal to step-down ahead of the protesters’ deadline, government officials called for dialog but OccupyCentral exclaimed “if the government does not immediately prevent the organized attacks on supporters of the Occupy movement, the students will call off dialogue on political reform with the government.” Some protest opponents tore down banners with words calling for Mr. Leung to resign, while others removed tents set up by pro-democracy crowds to shelter themselves.

Cops Taser Man 18 Times Then Pounce On Family Member As He Films Incident

A video of yet another brutal tasering has gone viral on the internet, also highlighting how police are increasingly targeting people who film their heavy handed actions.

The video shows two police officers from Springfield in Illinois, pinning a young male suspect on the ground. As he writhes beneath them, one of the officers deploys and uses it on the suspect at point blank range. The crackle of the electricity from the weapon can be heard.

The man filming the incident, presumably a family member, shouts to the suspect and the cops “Justin, Don’t worry, about it, suing the f*** out of y’all.”

An older woman screams at the cops to let him go, also yelling at the man to stay clam.

The family claim that the cops tasered the suspect up to eighteen times during the fracas. As they keep using the taser, the man tells the cops that he is worried that he is going to die, and the man with the camera phone becomes worried that they are “trying to kill” the suspect.

Russia Accuses Kiev Of Committing Genocide Of Russian, Ukrainian People

Russia Accuses Kiev Of Committing Genocide Of Russian, Ukrainian People (ZeroHedge, May 6, 2014):

Russia has made its first official comment following the latest escalations in Ukraine – and they are not peaceful-sounding – “We are dealing with the real genocide of both Russian and Ukrainian people,” said Russian State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin, adding that Russia was shocked by the massacre in Odessa and mourns the victims together with their families. His words went further as he warned the perpetrators “will get what they deserve from their people.” The words though, have now been followed up by actions… as RIA reports that Russia’s Black Sea Fleet “will get new submarines and next-generation surface ships”, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Tuesday, voicing his concern at the increasing maritime activity of the US Navy.

This Is How Ukrainian Protesters Attack An Armored Personnel Carrier (ZeroHedge, Feb 18, 2014):

Watch as sparks fly between a Ukrainian military APC, possibly the same one we revealed earlier, as it gets into some blazingly close encounters with the Kiev protesters. It is unclear who won however it is quite clear that at this point the proxy war in Ukraine between Russia/Gazprom and the European Union/US State Dept/Saudi/Qatar can be upgraded to “hot.”

And the death and injury toll, which is rising by the hour:

  • 6 policemen dead
  • 6 protestors dead
  • Police HQ in Ternopli on fire
  • Police HQ in Lviv occupied
  • More than 150 injuries

11 Examples Of Escalating Crime And Violence Plaguing Communities Across America

11 Examples Of The Escalating Crime And Violence That Are Plaguing Communities Across America (Economic Collapse, Aug 6, 2013):

Even though the United States has the highest incarceration rate and the largest total prison population in the world by a very wide margin, hundreds of communities all over America are being overwhelmed by crime and violence.  For many years, violent crime had actually decreased in the United States, but now the trend is going the other way.  Violent crime in the U.S. increased in both 2011 and 2012, and it is being projected that it will increase in 2013 as well.  The frightening thing is that crime statistics are going up even though police departments in some major cities have publicly announced that they will not even respond to certain crimes anymore.  This has the effect of making crime statistics look lower than they actually should be.  For example, in the city of Chicago police will no longer respond in person “to 911 calls reporting vehicle theft, garage burglary or simple assault“.  So if someone steals your car or breaks into your garage, you can file a report over the phone if you want, but it probably won’t do much good.

Cops Beat Woman For Filming Another Beating: ‘You Want To Film Something B**ch? Film This!’

Cops Beat Woman For Filming Another Beating (AlterNet, May 10, 2013):

You want to film something b**ch? Film this!”

BALTIMORE (CN) – Baltimore police beat up a woman and smashed her camera for filming them beating up a man, telling her: “You want to film something bitch? Film this!” the woman claims in court.

Makia Smith sued the Baltimore Police Department, Police Commissioner Anthony Batts and police Officers Nathan Church, William Pilkerton, Jr., Nathan Ulmer and Kenneth Campbell in Federal Court.

Smith claims she was stuck in stand-still rush hour traffic in northern Baltimore when she saw the defendant officers beating up and arresting a young man.

She says pulled out her camera, stood on her car’s door sill and filmed the beating.

“Officer Church saw plaintiff filming the beating and ran at her,” the complaint states. “He scared her and she sat back in her vehicle. As he ran at her, he yelled, ‘You want to film something bitch? Film this!’

“Officer Church reached into plaintiff’s car and grabbed her telephone-camera out of her hand, threw it to the ground and destroyed it by smashing it with his foot.

“Officer Church pulled plaintiff out of her car by her hair and beat her. Officers Pilkerton, Ulmer, and Campbell then ran to plaintiff’s car and joined Officer Church in beating plaintiff and arrested her using excessive force. At all times described herein, plaintiff’s two year old daughter witnessed her mother’s beating and arrest by the Officers, as did others.”

Smith claims the cops taunted her and threatened to take her daughter away. She says they refused to call her mother to her toddler.

“The officers, despite the pleas of plaintiff, refused to call plaintiff’s mother. Instead, the officers tormented plaintiff by telling her that her daughter would be taken from her and sent to Social Services. Seeing plaintiff’s distressful reaction to these tormenting threats, they continued,” the complaint states.

Smith says claims she was arrested and taken to jail on bogus charges that she assaulted Church and resisted arrest.

50 Shocking Questions That You Should Ask To Anyone That Is Not A Prepper Yet

50 Shocking Questions That You Should Ask To Anyone That Is Not A Prepper Yet (Economic Collapse, Jan 16, 2013):

Share this list of shocking questions with everyone you know that needs to wake up.  Sometimes asking good questions is the best way to get someone that you care about to understand something.  When I attended law school, I became very familiar with something called “the Socratic method”.  It is a method that has been traditionally used in law schools all over the United States.  Law professors will bombard their students with questions, and the goal is to stimulate critical thinking and allow students to discover the answers for themselves.  Many times those of us that can see what is happening to this country get frustrated when we try to get others to see what is so apparent to us.  But instead of preaching to them, perhaps asking questions would be more helpful.  When you ask someone a question, they are almost forced to think about what you just said and come up with a response.  And without a doubt, the fact that America is in decline is undeniable.  Those that would choose to blindly have faith in the system are foolish, because it is glaringly obvious that the system is failing.  Our economy is heading for collapse and the world around us is becoming more unstable with each passing day.  So it shouldn’t be a surprise that the number of preppers in the United States is absolutely exploding.  Some estimates put the number of preppers in the U.S. as high as 3 million, and the movement continues to explode.

So exactly what is a “prepper”?  Well, the truth is that there is a tremendous amount of diversity among the people that fall under that label.

Gandhi Advocated The Right To Bear Arms; Use Of ‘Violence’ To Defend Innocents Against Bullying, Oppression

Gandhi advocated the right to bear arms; use of ‘violence’ to defend innocents against bullying, oppression (Natural News, Dec 17, 2012):

Gandhi is known around the world as the master of “nonviolence.” And yet, in the face of being threatened with bullying attacks, even Gandhi directly advocated the use of violence in the defense of the innocent. Had Gandhi been alive today and witnessed the senseless loss of life at Sandy Hook Elementary school, he would have advocated arming the principal and giving her a chance to protect innocent lives through the use of defensive violent action.

Don’t believe me? Read his own words…

“I do believe that where there is only a choice between cowardice and violence I would advise violence,” Gandhi wrote in his famous work, Doctrine of the Sword.

He continues:

…When my eldest son asked me what he should have done, had he been present when I was almost fatally assaulted in 1908, whether he should have run away and seen me killed or whether he should have used his physical force which he could and wanted to use, and defended me, I told him that it was his duty to defend me even by using violence.

Mexican Police Brutality Uncovered By Human Rights Investigators

Mexican police brutality uncovered by human rights investigators (Guardian, Dec 6, 2012):

A preliminary investigation by Mexico City’s human rights commission has found evidence of police brutality and arbitrary detentions during the violent protests during last Saturday’s inauguration of President Enrique Peña Nieto.

The ongoing investigation has identified at least four cases of possible torture, three of them involving electric shocks, as well as 22 cases of unjustified arrests among the 70 people still in jail in relation to the protests. Many of these face a preliminary charge of “attacks against the public peace”, which carries a long prison term.

Anaheim police fire on media as unrest continues (The Raw Story, July 25, 2012):

Anaheim Police officers reportedly fired pepper balls and bean bags at demonstrators and journalists Tuesday night during the latest round of protests against last weekend’s police shootings.

Freelance journalist Tim Pool posted a video of himself and another journalist, Amber Lyon, being fired upon, an incident he first mentioned while live-streaming the protests Tuesday night. Pool also said during his live-stream that he was fired at after identifying himself as a media member. Staff members at KFI-AM also reported via Twitter that they were fired upon.

A video posted by KPFK-FM reporter Amber Stephens shows protesters gathered outside Anaheim City Hall Tuesday afternoon, chanting “no justice, no peace” at the officers guarding the door. Riot police eventually emerged from the building. According to KNBC-TV, the crowd measured in the hundreds, with at least five people being arrested.

Tuesday’s protests were the latest response to the fatal shooting of Manuel Diaz on Saturday. Diaz was killed while running away from police, which triggered a confrontation between residents that culminated in police firing similar riot-control weaponry into a crowd of women and children and a police dog, which Police Chief John Welter later said escaped from its vehicle, attacking a woman and her baby. Residents’ outrage intensified after police shot and killed another man, identified by The Los Angeles Times as Joel Mathew Acevedo, after Acevedo allegedly fired at officers during a chase.
