Terror trial: Big Ben and Heathrow Airport on target hit list, court hears:

A BRITISH teacher who was “fascinated” with the Islamic State planned terror attacks on Big Ben and the Queen’s Guard, saying “we are a death squad sent by Allah”, a court heard.

Umar Ahmed Haque is also accused of planning to target Heathrow Airport, Transport for London, Westfield shopping centres, banks in the City of London, Parliament, the English Defence League or Britain First, foreign embassies, media stations and the courts. The 25-year-old from east London, who worked as a religious teacher at an Islamic school, has denied preparing acts of terrorism.
