“People need to understand that there are federal laws that the DEA cannot bypass,” a hemp industry professional tells MintPress News regarding CBD oil.
(MPN)Austin, TX — An administrative change by the Drug Enforcement Administration has left users of CBD oil, a popular tincture derived from agricultural hemp, fearful that they could lose access to this vital health remedy.
CBD oil is currently considered legal in all 50 states, and agricultural hemp, a non-psychoactive variety of the cannabis plant from which CBD oil is extracted, is legally grown in many states. While scientific research into its benefits is just beginning, preliminary results show that CBD oil can benefit conditions ranging from epilepsy to chronic pain.
Though the negative stigma associated with cannabis has lessened in recent years – especially since CBD-rich oils to be a powerful aid in fighting cancer, it still hasn’t garnered full support from the public.
Such is unfortunate, as hemp is one of the most versatile (and longest cultivated) crops on the planet and can be used for a variety of practical and economical uses. According to some sources, the crop is humanity’s answer to eliminating smog from current fuels, creating a cleaner energy source that can replace nuclear power, remove radioactive water from the soil, and eliminate smog from skies in industrialized areas.
In addition, nationwide hemp production could eliminate deforestation by converting current paper to hemp paper which can be recycled up to 8 times. Compare this to wood pulp, which is recyclable up to 3 times. Finally, hemp seeds are incredibly nutritious and can even serve as a suitable feed for animals and livestock.

Allow me to begin by clarifying a very important thing: I am not a pothead, a stoner, or a recreational drug enthusiast.
In a stunning medical breakthrough for humanity, a hemp cannabidiol (CBD) product from Medical Marijuana, Inc. has been approved by the government of Brazil as a treatment for cancer. The product, called Real Scientific Hemp Oil (RSHO), is also approved by Brazil as a prescription medication for epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, and chronic pain.
This move puts Brazil far ahead of the United States in the realm of compassionate, safe, affordable medicine that can treat serious medical conditions such as cancer. “We have the utmost respect for the Brazilian government that decided hemp CBD oil should be available to their people, for a variety of reasons,” said Stuart W. Titus, PhD and Chief Executive Officer of Medical Marijuana, Inc. “Brazil is a shining example of how a national government has responded to humanitarian interests and has swiftly and diligently passed favorable legislation on behalf of the health and well-being of its people – children in particular.”
While the Food and Drug Administration, Congress and state legislatures fumble around with what to do about cannibidiol, or CBD – a bioactive cannabinoid found in cannabis which, unlike THC, does not produce a psychoactive effect – they should read a little history on the substance.
If they did, they’d know what millions know now and have known throughout recorded time: CBD has a rich history of providing a wide range of health benefits, including the promotion of bone growth, lowering blood sugar and protecting the brain from ravenous degenerative processes.
On Darren Miller’s 50th birthday, he received the devastating news of a lung and pericardial heart sac cancer diagnosis in which he was given about one year to live – and that was with chemotherapy. However, the Illinois resident was having nothing to do with death sentences. Instead, he and his wife moved to California where he was able to use cannabis oil. While there, he even learn how to make it himself.(1)
The results just seven months later?
He’s now cancer-free, and the chemo-related blisters on his hands and feet are a thing of the past. Miller even has the medical records to support this clean bill of health.
Hemp oil extracts containing CBDs (cannibidiols) are such a threat to the pharmaceutical industry that the FDA is now invoking totally insane justifications for outlawing them.
CBDs are non-psychoactive compounds found naturally in hemp plants. They work so well as powerful natural medicine that people everywhere are realizing CBDs work better than pharmaceuticals for treating epilepsy, seizures, neurological disorders and other serious health conditions (including HIV infections).
So the FDA has just launched a massive regulatory assault against CBDs by invoking the most insane logic you’ve ever heard. Here’s how it goes:
Last December we reported on a landmark study that made history at the annual meeting of the American Epilepsy Society. The study found that a cannabis extract called cannabidiol (CBD) has dramatically positive effects for children with seizures.
Clinical trials are continuing to confirm that CBD is likely a far better treatment for epileptic seizures than any pharmaceutical product. This non-psychoactive ingredient of cannabis is proving to have many diverse medical benefits.
(CCN) Many are calling him a genius. The man is an artisan, locksmith and above all else, he explains, he is a beekeeper. He has over 4300 Facebook followers and 700 on Instagram after the 39-year-old Frenchman, who describes himself as an advocate of medical cannabis and of complete cannabis legalization, trained bees to make honey from cannabis.
He goes by the nickname of Nicolas Trainerbees, for obvious reasons. For 20 years, he has worked with bees in a way where he claims he is able to “train” them to make honey from virtually anything.
“I have trained bees to do several things, such as collect sugar from fruits, instead of using flowers,” he explains.
If you know any female cannabis users, you may have heard that it can be very effective at relieving menstrual cramps. Now, a company called Foria Relief has created a vaginal suppository that could replace ibuprofen, Midol or Vicodin. It’s even made with an aromatic cocoa butter base.
“FORIA Relief has been carefully crafted using a delivery system intended to maximize the muscle relaxing and pain relieving properties of cannabis without inducing a psychotropic “high.” Cannabis has a long, cross-cultural history of use as a natural aid in easing symptoms associated with menstruation. Our intention is to share the powerful medicinal properties of this plant while utilizing modern extraction techniques to standardize purity and potency, thereby ensuring a safe and accessible experience for all women.”
On January 26, the Virginia House of Delegates unanimously voted to pass a bill that would allow its citizens to grow and process hemp products. Similarly to Oregon, South Carolina, Colorado, Maine, Vermont and other states, Virginia sought to give people the legal grounds to oppose the current unconstitutional federal ban that was in place for this industry. Every single representative voted yes to this proposition, yielding a 98-0 majority in favor of the hemp farming initiative, or House Bill 699.
What does Virginia gain from legalizing hemp?
Hemp, which is not to be confused with marijuana, belongs to the same family of plants, cannabis sativa, but does not contain enough tetrahydrocannabinol or THC in order to be psychoactive. In fact, most countries around the world have already made this significant delimitation between hemp and marijuana. Instead of banning hemp altogether, they introduced a limit of 0.3% allowed THC in hemp varieties, which renders it useless for recreational purposes. This has yet to happen in the United States.
“I always tell people – Cannabis will cure you, and you will see that at present, it is the best cure there is in the world!”
Rick Simpson, one of the world’s cannabis icons and activists for legalization of marijuana, has healed more than 5000 people with cannabis oil – after he was diagnosed with the most severe skin cancer in 2002 and cured the dreaded disease using hemp oil.
Rick, a self-taught doctor, otherwise a mechanical engineer from Canada, told Telegraf how he conquered the carcinoma and fought against the government and corrupt doctors, as well as shared the recipe that kills all types of tumors and a vast variety of serious health issues like diabetes, arteriosclerosis, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, asthma, and psoriasis – in 90 days.
In the state of Oregon, where marijuana for recreational purposes was legalized just over a month ago, there are already more retail marijuana shops than there are McDonald’s or Starbucks.
According to Oregon’s Health Authority, there are 281 marijuana businesses in the state due to the fact that there was already a vast network of medical dispensaries there. When legalization kicked in, these dispensaries were able to quickly repurpose themselves as retail outlets. This allowed the industry to grow much quicker in Oregon than it did in Colorado or Washington.

A young boy named Landon Riddle was diagnosed with Leukemia, and was told by his doctors that he only had an 8-10% chance of living for more than a day or two.
“His whole chest was full of leukemia tumors, which is why he couldn’t breathe. They started him on chemo, but told us that he probably wasn’t going to make it,” his mother, Sierra Riddle said.
After two months of Chemotherapy, Landon became sick and would refuse to eat. According to his mother, he would vomit up to 50 times a day, and the doctors eventually lost hope, seeing no other solution than Chemotherapy.
Then one day, Landon’s grandmother suggested that they look into cannabis oil treatment.
In 1996, California was the first state to legalize the use of Cannabis for medicinal purposes. Since then, the past decade has been ripe with research into the potential medicinal benefits of Cannabis. During this time we have learned that Cannabis can potentially treat such an enormous list of illnesses that the justification for its status as a schedule 1 illegal drug is being called into question.
I recommend to NOT smoke it.
South Dakota – The Santee Sioux tribe of South Dakota has recently announced they will be opening the country’s first Cannabis Resort, which representatives of the tribe say will be an “adult playground.” Earlier this year, the Department Of Justice issued a statement saying they would no longer prosecute Native American tribes for the possession and sale of cannabis. However, as we reported last week, some tribes are still being raided for attempting to venture into the cannabis industry.

“When you heat or age cannabis, Dr. Courtney believes that you lose 99% of the benefit cannabis provides. In contrast, if you consume it raw, you’ll reap the full value of the plant. Plus, raw cannabis is non-psychoactive, so you won’t experience a high — an important point for those who would like to utilize the healing aspects of cannabis without feeling drugged or off-center. This means you can also consume a much higher amount of health-promoting compounds with raw cannabis juice compared to if it was smoked or extracted as an oil, according to Dr. Courtney.”

Also if you cook your food you are killing all of the enzymes & most of the life force in it.
So if you want the most wonderful vehicle that has ever been created, the human body, to run smoothly don’t kill (cook) all of your food.

“If cannabis were discovered in the Amazon rainforest today, people would be clambering to make as much use as they could of all of the potential benefits of the plant. Unfortunately, it carries with it a long history of being a persecuted plant.” ~ Dr. Donald Abrams, Chief of Hematology Oncology at San Francisco General Hospital
