By now everyone is well aware that the sentiment in Germany is beginning to take on a very anti-immigrant (specifically Muslim immigrant) tone. Not only is sentiment shifting, but now violent actions are being put behind the ever growing contempt for immigrants within Germany as well.
As The Local reports, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of arson fires at refugee shelters throughout the country.
“This year, there have already been 45 arson fires,” said Holger Muench, head of the federal criminal police (BKA).
“What is particularly worrisome is the increasing scale of the violence,” he said in an interview with the Funke newspaper group.

An altercation involving violence was revealed in video footage taken in Freiburg, Germany, as new immigrant arrivals were announced. In the footage, a group of anti-refugee Germans yell at a line of riot police, goading them to use violence.
Audibly distraught and desperate, one German shouts at police: “Why aren’t you shooting? Shoot us! Come on, shoot us!” They added “You’re destroying our children’s future” and similar statements, aimed at calling attention to the country’s favorable treatment of Syrian refugees.
The incident happened after the mayor of Freiburg announced the arrival of close to 400 new refugees on nine buses in mid-October.

A key turning point in German public sentiment (and subsequent anger) against the unprecedented refugee wave swarming the nation took place during a NYE celebration in Cologne, when multiple reports suggested that as many as 1,000 men “of Arab or North African origin” participated in “monstrous” coordinated attacks on German women in Cologne. “About 90 women have reported being robbed, threatened or sexually molested at New Year celebrations outside [the city’s] cathedral,” Reuters wrote, adding that the men were “between 18 and 35” and appeared to be “mostly drunk” as well as of foreign origin.
This led to an outpouring of anger across Germany, and even Cologne mayor Henriette Reker chimed in calling the incident “unbelievable and intolerable” while Justice Minister Heiko Maas described the attacks as “a new scale of organized crime.”
It also resulted in a prompt reversal in Angela Merkel’s notoriously liberal immigration policy, the result of which was a dramatic slowdown in refugee flows using the “land corridor” entering central Europe, and leading to the infamous deal with Turkey which promised Erdogan billions if he manages to contain the millions of Syrian refugees within his borders.
Now, according to local press reports, it turns out there was more. Germany’s The Local reports that a high-ranking police officer has alleged that his seniors tried to strike the word rape from an internal police report after the mass sexual assaults in Cologne over New Year.

To be sure, not everyone was delighted by the AfD’s rapid move higher in the polls.
One such place is Germany’s Frankfurter Allgemeine, which just came out with a cover story to “reveal” how uncharacteristically conservative the AfD is, titled “How the AfD wants to live”, with a picture showing a retro family with dog and 3 kids. Oh, and a gun.

Heiko Maas, the German Minister of Justice, was unable to finish his Labor Day celebration speech on the 1st of May as he was loudly booed and chased off the stage by the German people. The people repeatedly shouted “traitor”, “leftist rat”, “get out!”, “we are the people” and “Maas must go!”, eventually getting him to cancel his speech and flee to his armored Mercedes escorted by his armed bodyguards.
Maas is considered one of the biggest proponents of expanding censorship laws, demanding persecution, fines and jail-time for everybody posting “hate speech” on social media. Recently his party suffered a devastating loss in polls across the country, losing to the Alternative for Germany (AfD) by a landslide in the last state election of Saxony, where he held his speech.

Around 600 members (pictured) of various European police and military forces have carried out a European Union (EU) funded training exercise, in preparation for major civil unrest and even war.
The exercise took place in North Rhine-Westphalia on the 15th of April, and is part of the EU’s ongoing Lowlands Gendarmerie program.
So-called ‘Gendarmeries’ are a military force charged with police duties among civilian populations, and all seven European countries that maintain such “robust” units are joined together in the European Gendarmerie Force (Eurogendfor).
