Raqqa’s Dirty Secret

Raqqa’s dirty secret:

The BBC has uncovered details of a secret deal that let hundreds of IS fighters and their families escape from Raqqa, under the gaze of the US and British-led coalition and Kurdish-led forces who control the city.

A convoy included some of IS’s most notorious members and – despite reassurances – dozens of foreign fighters. Some of those have spread out across Syria, even making it as far as Turkey.

Bombshell Report Confirms US Coalition Struck A Deal With ISIS

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis stands in front of a map of Syria and Iraq.

Bombshell Report Confirms US Coalition Struck A Deal With ISIS:

At a moment of widespread acknowledgement that the short-lived Islamic State is no longer a reality, and as ISIS is about to be defeated by the Syrian Army in its last urban holdout of Abu Kamal City in eastern Syria, the US is signalling an open-ended military presence in Syria. On Monday Defense Secretary Jim Mattis told reporters at the Pentagon that the US is preparing for a long term military commitment in Syria to fight ISIS “as long as they want to fight.”

Mattis indicated that even should ISIS loose all of its territory there would still be a dangerous insurgency that could morph into an “ISIS 2.0” which he said the US would seek to prevent. “The enemy hasn’t declared that they’re done with the area yet, so we’ll keep fighting as long as they want to fight,” Mattis said. “We’re not just going to walk away right now before the Geneva process has traction.”

800 US school websites hacked with “I love Islamic State,” Islamic profession of faith

800 US school websites hacked with “I love Islamic State,” Islamic profession of faith:

What is ironic about this is that in the vast majority of those schools, if not all of them, students are taught that Islamic jihad violence has nothing to do with Islam, and that Muslims are the victims of large-scale “Islamophobia,” such that concern about jihad terror is “hateful,” “bigoted,” and “racist.”

Reality broke through with this hack, but it is unlikely that anyone in any of these 800 schools will get the real message that was being conveyed.

“Pro-Isis hackers hijack 800 US schools’ sites with Saddam Hussein photo, ‘I love Islamic State’ message,” by Hyacinth Mascarenhas, International Business Times, November 7, 2017 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

(ANTIWAR.COMThe Pentagon has reported multiple strikes against “ISIS militants” inside Somalia on Friday, beginning at midnight and continuing to 11 am. These are the first US strikes within Somalia to be explicitly aimed at ISIS.

Islamic State Collapses As Syrian Army Fully Liberates Deir Ezzor City

Islamic State Collapses As Syrian Army Fully Liberates Deir Ezzor City:

After two months of intense fighting, Syria’s last major ISIS stronghold of Deir Ezzor city has been fully liberated by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), and this comes just as the terror group is losing its final stronghold across the border in Iraq as the Iraqi army and paramilitary units liberate the city of al-Qaem.

The final fledgling terror resistance ended overnight as the SAA’s elite Tiger Forces and the Republican Guard yesterday liberated the city’s Jubaliyah neighborhood, the central park area, the school of law and education area and the southern part of the sprawling Hamidiyah neighborhood. The week witnessed rapid army victory as it pushed deep into the last remnants of ISIS presence in the city, with the group losing 40% of the area that it had been controlling in the northern part of the city in a matter of a mere few days.

Backed by Russian airstrikes, the Syrian army’s victory in Deir Ezzor has even anti-Assad pundits expressing shock and surprise that government forces could come back against such impossible odds. For much of the past year the city’s key military airport was besieged by ISIS while over 5000 civilians along with Syrian army and Hezbollah fighters were trapped inside the base with no food or supplies. According to various reports from correspondents on the ground, it was defended from near daily terror attacks by starving base residents, and supplied from government air drops. Many lost their lives just attempting to access some of the hard to reach airdrops on which the base’s survival depended, however, it was the SAA liberation of this key airport in early September that proved to be the final turning point of the breakdown of the ISIS stranglehold on the city.

US Launches First Airstrike Against ‘ISIS Fighters’ In Somalia

US Launches First Airstrike Against ISIS Fighters In Somalia:

The Pentagon’s gradually escalating combat mission in Somalia reached another important milestone Friday – one of many that have occurred since the inauguration of President Donald Trump – when the military revealed that it had carried out the first airstrikes against Islamic State-linked fighters in Somalia.

The news comes as ISIS forces in Syria were driven out of their last remaining patch of territory as Syrian Army forces retook the eastern city of Deir Ezzor, inspiring even anti-Assad pundits to marvel at the Army’s advance against seemingly insurmountable odds.

Israel Bombs Syrian Military Target, Syria Fires Back With Surface-to-Air Missiles – #WW3

And why not start WW3?

Israel Bombs Syrian Military Target, Syria Fires Back With Surface-to-Air Missiles:

The latest in a growing number of Israeli airstrikes against Syrian territory appears to have been one of the most ambitious yet, striking deep into the Homs Province, near the Lebanese border and destroying what was said to be a weapons depot for the Syrian military.

The attack destroyed the site, and provoked retaliatory fire from Syrian air defense, who fired a number of surface-to-air missiles at the Israeli warplanes. Israeli officials say none of their planes were hit in the incident.

NOT ONLY are hundreds of trained Islamic State jihadis being allowed to return to the UK, they will get taxpayer-funded homes and counseling to stop them from carrying out terror attacks in Britain

NOT ONLY are hundreds of trained Islamic State jihadis being allowed to return to the UK, they will get taxpayer-funded homes and counseling to stop them from carrying out terror attacks in Britain:

The top-secret Government strategy – codenamed Operation Constrain – could see returning Islamic State (ISIS) Muslim terrorists jump to the top of council house waiting lists, as well as receiving counseling and help finding jobs to stop them from carrying out attacks in Britain. Official documents reveal that up to 20,000 Muslim extremists previously investigated by MI5 will be targeted with what critics last night described as ‘bribes’ aimed at turning them away from terrorism. What could possibly go wrong?

UK Daily Mail (h/t George W)  The highly contentious nationwide programme is due to start next year, with police and cash-strapped councils hoping the Home Office will pay for it out of its £900 million counter-terrorism budget.

Last night, terrorism expert Professor Anthony Glees, of Buckingham University, said: ‘You can’t bribe people not to be terrorists.’  And Tory MP Andrew Bridgen added: ‘This sounds like a reward for being on a list of potential terrorists. You can’t buy people’s loyalty to this country.’

Facebook, Social Media, Aiding Jihad; Censoring Those Who Counter Jihad

FYI.

Facebook, Social Media, Aiding Jihad; Censoring Those Who Counter Jihad:

  • That major technology companies are openly stifling the free speech of people trying to counter jihad is bad enough; what is beyond unconscionable is that they simultaneously enable Islamic supremacists to spread the very content that the counter-jihadists have been exposing.
  • According to the legal complaint, the names and symbols of Palestinian Arab terrorist groups and individuals were known to authorities, and “Facebook has the data and capability to cease providing services to [such] terrorists, but… has chosen not to do so.”
  • A separate lawsuit claims that Twitter not only benefits indirectly by seeing its user base swell through the increase of ISIS-linked accounts, but directly profits by placing targeted advertisements on them.
  • When jihadist content is permitted to spread unchecked across the globe via cyberspace, it is a matter of national and international security. Tragically for Western civilization, its tech and media icons have been colluding — even if unwittingly — with those working actively to destroy it.

For the past few years, large social media and other online companies have been seeking to restrict or even criminalize content that could be construed as critical of Islam or Muslims, including when the material simply exposes the words and actions of radical Islamists.

The recent attempt by the digital payment platform, PayPal, to forbid two conservative organizations — Jihad Watch and the American Freedom Defense Initiative — from continuing to use the service to receive donations, is a perfect case in point. Although PayPal reversed the ban, its initial move was part of an ongoing war against the free speech of counter-jihadists — those working to expose the ideology, goals, tactics and strategies of Islamic supremacists, and who are trying to defeat or at least to deter the Islamic supremacist global agenda.

Europe, U.S. Flooded by Thousands of Jihadis After Islamic State Failure

I hope my readers in Europe are preparing for the coming collapse, because after the financial collapse, there will be civil war all over the place, especially in France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Britain.

The greatest revolution of all time is reserved for the US. All troops will be ordered back home and it will be not enough to restore law and order in the US.

Report: Europe, U.S. Flooded by Thousands of Jihadis After Islamic State Failure:

A new report commissioned by the Soufan Center has outlined the threat posed by potential Western Islamic State (ISIS) fighters returning to their countries of origin as the caliphate continues to collapse.

The report, titled “Beyond the Caliphate, Foreign Fighters and the Threat of Returnees,” finds that at least 5,600 men, women, and children from 33 countries who traveled to support the Islamic State have now returned to their country of origin, many of which are in the West.

It also estimates that around 30 percent of the approximately 5,000 people who have gone to Syria from countries in the European Union have returned home. Seven of the 129 who went to join ISIS from the United States are now back on home turf, the report adds.

UK anti-terror chief: UK is “integrating,” not prosecuting, Islamic State returnees

UK anti-terror chief: UK is “integrating,” not prosecuting, Islamic State returnees:

A senior government adviser has told the BBC that the authorities are not prosecuting many Islamic State volunteers, believing they should be reintegrated rather than punished.

Britain continues to expose its citizens to danger and jihad attacks. The UK is currently facing the most severe terror threat ever.

If Britain is hoping to enter these Islamic State jihadists into deradicalization programs, they don’t work. Professor Boaz Ganor, from the International Policy Institute for Counter Terrorism once stated that deradicalization is “practically impossible”; the London Tube jihad bomber had attended a deradicalization program; and France’s only jihadi deradicalization center was closed because it was based on voluntary participation as it should be, and it was empty.

Quite some time ago, Jihad Watch reported the real reason why returning jihadists were not being prosecuted. It was because UK officials feared seeming “anti-Muslim.”

“UK Anti-Terror Tsar: UK Authorities Not Prosecuting Islamic State Returnees to Avoid Creating a ‘Lost Generation”, by Jack Montgomery, Breitbart, October 21, 2017:
