- Head of internal medicine at Japan hospital astonished by Fukushima thyroid exams — Immediate evacuation required in high contamination areas — “A violation of human rights for those exposed” (ENENews, July 28, 2012):

Title: Position Statement: What Is Currently Happening to Fukushima Children?
Source: Michiyuki Matsuzaki, M.D.

  • April 2010  Head of Internal Medicine Department, Fukagawa Municipal Hospital, Hokkaido
  • April 2012  Professor of Clinical Administration, Asahikawa Medical University, Hokkaido
  • May 2012  Special member of Cancer Policy Board, Hokkaido Prefecture

[...]

When the above four studies are tallied in one table, it becomes obvious that the result of the thyroid examinations of children in the “Fukushima Prefecture Health Management Survey” is astonishing. This is because one-third of the children had developed “ cysts.” A “cyst” is a fluid-filled sac. Cysts don’t mean there is an immediate chance of developing thyroid cancer. However, it is apparent that something extraordinary is happening inside the thyroid gland, such as inflammation or changes in cellular properties.

[...]

Summarizing the thyroid ultrasound examination results from Japan and overseas, prevalence of “cysts” detected in children around the age of 10 is approximately 0.5-1.0%.

The fact that 35% of Fukushima children (average age around 10) have thyroid cysts strongly suggests that these children’s thyroid glands are negatively affected by undesirable environmental factors.

There is a strong concern that waiting for further analysis of above data and the completion of follow-up examinations will lead to irreversible health damages in these children.

- A Single Piece of Radioactive Food Is Comparable to ‘Hundreds of X-Rays’ (Natural Society, July 16, 2012):

As you likely are aware, x-ray imaging scans have increasingly been linked in peer-reviewed scientific literature to an increased risk of cancer — particularly in children. Dental x-rays, for example, have actually been linked to a twofold increase in brain cancer. It is therefore quite shocking to consider a new report which states that radioactive food (food contaminated with radiation from Fukushima or others sources) consumption is comparable to receiving hundreds of x-rays.

Radioactive Food Could be ‘Hundreds of X-Rays’

Furthermore, research conducted by a prominent doctor also draws a relationship between radioactive food and the occurrence of birth defects. Prestigious physician, geneticist, and professor Dr. Wladimir Wertelecki conducted research back in 2010 regarding the relationship between contaminated food and birth defects. Now, years later, the professor is now speaking out over the serious impact of the Chernobyl and the Fukushima-Daiichi disasters.

In fact, a single mushroom eaten in an area affected with radiation contamination could be similar to receiving ‘hundreds’ of tumor-linked x-ray scans. To illustrate this radioactive food issue, Wertelecki’s report states:

“ One mushroom eaten in affected areas may deliver as much radiation as hundreds of chest x-rays.”

Commentary:

profoundly important video that I have referred to again and again; continue to refer people to. Thank you so much! Excellent information.

Further studies for reference:

Busby quotes Bandashevski – who was imprisoned for protecting children and speaking out the truth. If you take Vitamin C from Acerola and take it together with grapeseed powder or extract, then the protection that Vitamin C will give you will be 1000 times stronger.

Children who lost their hair from the Chernobyl radiation grew it back when supplemented with Spirulina.

Why is it that close to no website mentions all these wonderful, cheap and scientific proven supplements that protect people from radiation?

This list should be all over the internet:

- How To Decrease Radiation Illness And Protect Yourself From Radiation

(The only thing wrong with this list is that it says that Lugols solution isn’t safe.)

- Fukushima radiation cover-up continues – here’s how to protect yourself (Natural News, May 25, 2012):

It’s not just Fukushima, though that may be enough. The northern hemisphere especially had been inundated with radioactive fallout by atmospheric nuclear weapons testing from 1950 to 1963. The Nevada testing area alone produced 1200 nuclear explosions that emitted radioactive particles across the USA.

The Chernobyl incident in 1986 affected hundreds of thousands throughout Europe, Scandinavia, and Russia. The boom in nuclear reactor power plants had already started and was constantly increasing, along with considerable radiation leaking.

A 1996 international court interpretation of international treaties opened the door for widespread use of depleted uranium (DU) that had been prohibited for use as ammunition projectiles that could pierce armor. Tons of DU ammunition has been used in Bosnia and the Mideast since, leaving a radioactive mess that will last for life times.

- Map Shows Probability Of Contamination From Severe Nuclear Reactor Accidents Is Higher Than Expected (Before It’s News, May 22, 2012):

Western Europe has the worldwide highest risk of radioactive contamination caused by major reactor accidents

Catastrophic nuclear accidents such as the core meltdowns in Chernobyl and Fukushima are more likely to happen than previously assumed. Based on the operating hours of all civil nuclear reactors and the number of nuclear meltdowns that have occurred, scientists at the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry in Mainz have calculated that such events may occur once every 10 to 20 years (based on the current number of reactors) — some 200 times more often than estimated in the past.

The researchers also determined that, in the event of such a major accident, half of the radioactive caesium-137 would be spread over an area of more than 1,000 kilometres away from the nuclear reactor. Their results show that Western Europe is likely to be contaminated about once in 50 years by more than 40 kilobecquerel of caesium-137 per square meter. According to the International Atomic Energy Agency, an area is defined as being contaminated with radiation from this amount onwards. In view of their findings, the researchers call for an in-depth analysis and reassessment of the risks associated with nuclear power plants.

Global risk of radioactive contamination. The map shows the annual probability in percent of radioactive contamination by more than 40 kilobecquerels per square meter. In Western Europe the risk is around two percent per year.

The reactor accident in Fukushima has fuelled the discussion about nuclear energy and triggered Germany’s exit from their nuclear power program. It appears that the global risk of such a catastrophe is higher than previously thought, a result of a study carried out by a research team led by Jos Lelieveld, Director of the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry in Mainz: “After Fukushima, the prospect of such an incident occurring again came into question, and whether we can actually calculate the radioactive fallout using our atmospheric models.” According to the results of the study, a nuclear meltdown in one of the reactors in operation worldwide is likely to occur once in 10 to 20 years. Currently, there are 440 nuclear reactors in operation, and 60 more are planned.

- Cesium-137 contamination: Fukushima amounts to four Chernobyls (RT, May 24, 2012):

TEPCO’s new estimates suggest that its Fukushima reactor has released more than quadruple the amount of radioactive cesium-137 leaked during the Chernobyl disaster. But the method used to measure the damage may undervalue the hazard even further.

- Ambassador Murata makes public statement in English: Once a quake beyond magnitude 6 or 7 happens, then the world starts heading towards the ultimate catastrophe — Unit 4 a global security issue (ENENews, May 24, 2012):

At 28:30 – 29:40 into the video:

I’m Mr. Murata former Japanese ambassador to Switzerland.

The voices of the victims are not being heard sufficiently because of the efforts of the minimizers of the accident.

Today I want to only pick up one question, the problem of the Unit 4 reactor at Fukushima.

I’m saying this is a global security issue.

Because once an earthquake beyond a magnitude 6 or 7 happens, then the world starts heading towards the ultimate catastrophe.

According to the expert Robert Alvarez, the amount of cesium-137 is 85 times more than Chernobyl.

[Garbled Speech], but there’s not the sense of crisis.

I would like to ask your cooperation to alert the whole world to this danger.

- Former Fukushima Daiichi Worker: ‘I believe the country will be evacuated if No. 4 fuel pool collapses’ — ‘Should be hundreds or thousands of people working furiously every day’ (ENENews, May 22, 2012):

Chris Canine has 15 years experience as a Health Physics Technician, Chemist and Radiation Safety Instructor. He has worked at over 20 plants throughout the United States, Japan and Mexico — including Fukushima #1 and #2 in the late 1970′s.

On May 15, 2012 he wrote:

There are several reasons why I believe the country will be evacuated if the #4 SFP collapses. The amount of radioactive material in the fuel pool dwarfs the total amount at Chernobyl by a factor of 5 to 10. Chernobyl’s core was still mostly contained in a building (although heavily damaged), and most of the radioactive material melted downward and became lava like. If #4 SFP collapses it will be lying on the completely open ground, probably going critical on and off in portions of the pile for years. The dose rate from this pile will make dropping sand or anything from the air much more lethal than anything at Chernobyl. And probably impossible. The entire site at Fukushima will be uninhabitable and unworkable because of the dose rate coming from this pile of fuel. That means there will be no control of the other fuel pools, and we could lose control of them.Nuclear experts will soft sell the ramifications because that is how the industry works. When the experts “have concerns” about the situation at #4 that means they are pooping their pants. My experience at Fukushima was 30 years ago. I worked in the industry for about 15 years as a health physics technician. I was also referred to as a “nuclear gypsy” because I traveled from plant to plant working outages. That meant I was always in the middle of the hottest jobs in the heart of the plant. The engineers will talk about this part or that part of a plant, but I have been all those places wearing full gear.

He later noted: “No reasonable person with my type experience would question my conclusion if any of the fuel pools collapse. There should be hundreds or thousands of people working furiously every day to get the buildings fortified and the fuel moved.”
