The film Vaxxed, exposing criminal fraud at the CDC and the CDC’s concealment of a link between the MMR vaccine and autism, was shut down in Houston. Locked out 2 days ago.
It was supposed to open at the Worldfest Houston International Film Festival, but Hunter Todd, the head of the Festival, admitted in writing that “high government officials” in Houston had threatened the Festival—so Vaxxed was axed.
Now I have confirmation that it was the Houston Mayor’s office that did the deed. The threat was about $$. The city government supports the Festival with grants. Show the film—no grants.

As you know, Vaxxed was also axed at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
But the Angelika Film Center in NY has been showing Vaxxed since last Friday, and attendance has swelled. There are now requests from many theaters around THE WORLD that want to show the film.
I’ve just been informed that the Village Voice newspaper in New York, which agreed to a package of ads from Vaxxed, has canceled the ads—and blasted out an email distancing itself from Vaxxed.

Men exposed to the Zika virus and who have a pregnant partner should use a condom or abstain from sex until the baby is born, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised Friday in guidelines aimed at preventing sexual transmission of the virus.
Officials also said that pregnant women who have been exposed to Zika should talk with their doctors about testing for the virus.
While saying that the situation with Zika is “evolving rapidly” and that much had been learned in just the past two weeks, CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden stressed in a news briefing that the primary concern with Zika at this time is protecting pregnant women and their unborn babies from a neurological disorder known as microcephaly.
“Each passing day, the linkage between Zika and microcephaly becomes stronger,” Frieden said. Microcephaly results in babies being born with abnormally small heads that can lead to severe development delays and even death.

I want to start off this post by making it clear that I’m not remotely anti-vaccine. Personally, I chose to receive a Hepatitis A shot prior to my Asia travels last winter, and I also recently received a TDAP booster in order to reduce the risk of transferring pertussis to my newborn son, which can be quite dangerous if contracted by babies.
While I’m not anti-vaccine, I am anti-ignorance, and there’s a lot of ignorance and bluster out there when it comes to this subject. I know this, because I spent a lot of time researching the topic over the past nine months, after finding out that my wife was pregnant. It’s a complicated topic, which is why this is the first time I’ve ever written about it.

The “flu season” is upon us, and the Centers for Disease Control urges all parents to act like good little robots and have the whole family jabbed with flu shots.
The usual warnings and predictions are trumpeted by the CDC and their compliant media connections.
The one persistent “fact” that is shoved across is: every year in the US, 36,000 people die of the flu. We’ve all read and heard that figure, over and over.

But the CDC itself admits that flu droplets can travel 6 feet.
