This “revolutionary” technology is intended to completely change the way that we use money, and it would represent a major step toward a cashless society. With the polls in eastern Indiana closed (the last polls in the western part of the state are open until 7pm Eastern), the first results come in, and in early counting of the available votes, Trump has a daunting 53% lead over Cruz’s 33% and Kasich at 11%, while Hillary leads Bernie Sanders 58% to 43%.
If Trump’s 50%+ lead remains largely unchallenged, it is difficult to see how the New York real estate billionaire will fail to accumulate the required threshold of votes before the Republican convention in July.

Now, according to local press reports, it turns out there was more. Germany’s The Local reports that a high-ranking police officer has alleged that his seniors tried to strike the word rape from an internal police report after the mass sexual assaults in Cologne over New Year.

He doesn’t know the difference between truth and lies. He lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth. And in a pattern that I think is straight out of a psychology text book, his response is to accuse everybody else of lying.”

According to Russia Today, the fight started as the two sides debated a constitutional amendment that would strip lawmakers of their legal immunity.
Tensions were already high as Turkish president Erdogan has been accusing HDP of ties to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), and the constitutional amendment that was being debated was allegedly worrying members of the HDP that they’d potentially be open to prosecution for any opposition of the ruling party.

Prosecutors in Virginia will not charge police officers in South Boston for their part in the death of a man who was shot with a taser 20 times in 30 minutes while handcuffed in police custody, according to a new report.
Linwood Lambert was pronounced dead about an hour after he was taken into police custody in South Boston, Virginia, on May 4, 2013, following reports of a noise disturbance at a motel. Police decided to take Lambert, who later admitted he had used cocaine, to a nearby hospital, telling him they were not taking him to jail. When Lambert became agitated and ran out of the police squad car toward the hospital, police subsequently tased him repeatedly despite his pleas for them to stop.
Lambert died after about 87 seconds, total, of tasing by the officers, who acted in violation of the South Boston Police Department’s guidelines for taser-use given Lambert was handcuffed the entire time.
