– RACE ATTACK: Horrific head injuries of woman battered by thugs in ‘racist’ attack:
A TERRIFIED woman suffered horror injuries when she was battered by thugs in what police believe was a race hate attack.
Nikki Hurst was left with serious facial injuries and a head wound after she was pushed and kicked in what police are treating as a “racially aggravated” assault.
The 32-year-old had been out walking in Batley, West Yorks, when she was approached by the three Asian men.
She claimed she was shoved the ground during the horror at around 6.45pm on Halloween, Huddersfield Daily Examiner reports.
A video showing Nikki’s horror injuries has been circulating online.
Battered Nikki can be seen sporting a swollen black eye and stitches in a large gash on her forehead.
Police are now investigating and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Det Insp Mark Atkinson, of Kirklees CID, said: “This was a terrible incident and one which left the victim with very serious injuries.
“We have been in regular contact with her to enable us to investigate the incident fully.
“I would like to appeal to members of the public who have witnessed the incident or have any information to come forward and assist with our investigation.”
