Germany: Police fire warning shot to arrest 18 y/o Afghan after attempted rape of 17 y/o woman:

The Munich police headquarters in Germany reports that on Wednesday, 23 August 2017, around 02:00

“Witnesses heard the cries of a 17-year-old in the Old Botanical Gardens in the Fürstenfeldbruck-district of Munich. These witnesses saw a woman, laying on the ground with her trousers pulled down. They also saw a man, with his trousers down, laying on top of her. It seemed like the man was forcing sexual acts on the woman. The witnesses agreed to immediately notify the emergency services.

When officers arrived at the scene, the man fled immediately, after which the officers gave chase. One police-officer called after the man “stop, police,” which did not, however, motivate the man to give up.

Continuing, the police-officer threatened, using the words “stop, or I’ll shoot,” the use of firearms. This did not prompt the suspect to halt, after which the policeman fired a warning shot in the air.

Thereupon the man stood still and could be, for the time being, taken into custody.

The 18-year-old Afghan from the Munich district was taken to the Munich police headquarters and was brought before a magistrate to decide on his arrest.

The 17-year-old woman was not wounded during the ordeal.”
