“The UK & much of Europe operated what was termed a “Mixed Economy” for most of the last Century, which basically blended Capitalism with Communism quite successfully as the only things the State owned on behalf of the people were the Nationalised Industries, which were strategic in the main.
It all started to fall apart as American influence and capital exploitation met Labour Union greed & political manipulation from both the USA & USSR, and was finally destroyed by the zionist economist Friedman who de-industrialised the Country over the last two decades of the 1900’s.
Neither Capitalism NOR Socialism work standing alone.
