  1. Just taken Geiger Counter readings in Cumbria, NW England.

    Levels have never been higher.

    Standard Background is now .015mcSv, more than double pre-Fukushima level of .007.

    But the shock was the “Express Check” reading which is .039, nearly at the old safety alert level of .050mcSv, before the Government kindly raised the safe level by 100%.
