The CDC, like most quasi government departments have, through infiltration by corporate interests, lost their way, and their honesty has been compromised.
It is indeed unfortunate that we taxpayers only learn the truth via risk taking, desperate whistleblowers, who might be persecuted and prosecuted by the corrupted they expose.
