European Union Military Police Rehearses For Civil War In Germany:

Around 600 members (pictured) of various European police and military forces have carried out a European Union (EU) funded training exercise, in preparation for major civil unrest and even war.

The exercise took place in North Rhine-Westphalia on the 15th of April, and is part of the EU’s ongoing Lowlands Gendarmerie program.

So-called ‘Gendarmeries’ are a military force charged with police duties among civilian populations, and all seven European countries that maintain such “robust” units are joined together in the European Gendarmerie Force (Eurogendfor). Continue reading »

Parents beware: The government has found a new way to force children to be vaccinated without parental consent:

If you choose not to vaccinate your children, you should know that the government can have you declared unfit and vaccinate them anyway – at least if you happen to live in Michigan.

A Michigan appeals court has ruled that a judge acted properly when ordering children to be vaccinated despite objections by their mother on religious grounds. Her requests were disregarded after she was deemed unfit by the state.

lies, lies and OMG more lies

LIES, LIES AND OMG, MORE LIES:

It’s that time of year again. It’s open enrollment for health plans at my employer. They are biggest employer in Philly and have the most leverage possible with the insurance companies. They have such good leverage that my premiums are going up “only” 9.8% this year for a basic HMO plan. Based on what I hear from others, I should be thankful for just a 9.8% increase.

This isn’t a new development. Since I’ve been tracking all my expenditures using Quicken since 1991, I know exactly what my annual health insurance costs have been every year. Obamacare was passed in 2009 and began to be implemented in 2010. Obama declared that families could expect $2,500 of savings per year. I know for a fact my annual medical expenses were $2,000 higher in 2015 than they were in 2010. Continue reading »

How the BBC Stole the Referendum:

By Craig Murray, former British ambassador to Uzbekistan and Rector (i.e. president) of the University of Dundee. Craigmurray.org.uk.

I suspect the next referendum could be much sooner than generally expected. Documenting and spreading awareness of the astonishing state propaganda campaign by the BBC is an extremely important task in advance of that. I urge you to make a donation, however small, to help Alan Knight finish the documentary How the BBC Stole the Referendum. Filming has been completed and I have seen a lot of the edit in progress, which really is excellent. I only play a very small part among a great many more distinguished contributors, but it so happens I feature in the little teaser of completed work they have put out for the fundraising campaign. I think it gives an idea of the professional production standards they are working to.

Please give something, anything. Many a mickle maks a muckle. In fighting the state and corporate media, we have only ourselves, and sometimes that means the change in our pockets too.

Hillary-Clinton

Seymour Hersh Says Hillary Approved Sending Libya’s Sarin to Syrian Rebels:

Eric Zuesse, originally posted at strategic-culture.org

The great investigative journalist Seymour Hersh, in two previous articles in the London Review of Books (“Whose Sarin?” and “The Red Line and the Rat Line”) has reported that the Obama Administration falsely blamed the government of Syria’s Bashar al-Assad for the sarin gas attack that Obama was trying to use as an excuse to invade Syria; and Hersh pointed to a report from British intelligence saying that the sarin that was used didn’t come from Assad’s stockpiles. Hersh also said that a secret agreement in 2012 was reached between the Obama Administration and the leaders of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, to set up a sarin gas attack and blame it on Assad so that the U.S. could invade and overthrow Assad. “By the terms of the agreement, funding came from Turkey, as well as Saudi Arabia and Qatar; the CIA, with the support of MI6, was responsible for getting arms from Gaddafi’s arsenals into Syria.” Hersh didn’t say whether these “arms” included the precursor chemicals for making sarin which were stockpiled in Libya, but there have been multiple independent reports that Libya’s Gaddafi possessed such stockpiles, and also that the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi Libya was operating a “rat line” for Gaddafi’s captured weapons into Syria through Turkey. So, Hersh isn’t the only reporter who has been covering this. Indeed, the investigative journalist Christof Lehmann headlined on 7 October 2013, “Top US and Saudi Officials responsible for Chemical Weapons in Syria” and reported, on the basis of very different sources than Hersh used, that “Evidence leads directly to the White House, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey, CIA Director John Brennan, Saudi Intelligence Chief Prince Bandar, and Saudi Arabia´s Interior Ministry.” And, as if that weren’t enough, even the definitive analysis of the evidence that was performed by two leading U.S. analysts, the Lloyd-Postal report, concluded that, “The US Government’s Interpretation of the Technical Intelligence It Gathered Prior to and After the August 21 Attack CANNOT POSSIBLY BE CORRECT.” Obama has clearly been lying. Obama-Lies

Obama Admin Denies Saying “No Boots on the Ground” in Syria After Saying It 16 Times:

United States — What does a government do when it’s caught in a flagrant lie? If you are the U.S. government, you simply tell another lie — and laugh at anyone who tries to call out your hypocrisy.

Setting aside his oft-parroted no-boots-on-the-ground imperative, President Obama announced Monday the U.S. would be quintupling the number of special forces troops deployed to Syria to fight Daesh (the so-called Islamic State). In fact, the announcement was made later on the same day Obama claimed to have “ruled out” the deployment of ground troops.

Though this reneging on stated foreign policy has become somewhat par for the course, State Department spokesman John Kirby not only missed the hypocritical move, he flatly and bafflingly denied the Obama administration’s repeated claim there would be “no boots on the ground.” Continue reading »

The SHOCKING Inside Scoop On Being a Guest Writer At Zero Hedge:

by ‘George Washington’ of Washington’s Blog

I’ve been a guest writer at Zero Hedge for quite a few years.

Shocking as it may seem, “Tyler” and the gang have put absolutely no pressure on me to spin stories one way or the other.

… Or to avoid any topics.

I’ve asked Tyler more than once whether I should write on a certain topic, and he’s consistently – and shockingly – said I should write whatever I want.

For example,  on September 30, 2009, I asked Tyler about posting rules.

He replied: Continue reading »

“Don’t Fly Near Our Borders” – U.S. Spy Plane Again Intercepted By Russian Jet:

According to CNN, yet another close encounter took place between the U.S. and Russia yesterday, as a Russian SU-27 allegedly conducted a barrel roll over top of a U.S. Air Force RC-135 reconnaissance plane flying over the Baltic sea. The incident was in international airspace according to the Defense Department.

This is the second time a Russian jet has allegedly barrel rolled over a U.S. plane flying over the Baltic, and the incident marks the fourth close encounter between the two countries just this month, as tensions continue to rapidly escalate between the two countries.

US-Created System In Iraq Is Collapsing: Protesters Storm Parliament, State of Emergency Declared – Live Webcast:

Less than two years ago, the US set up another puppet government in the mid-east this time in the state of Iraq when following substantial US pressure, on August 14, 2014 then prime minister al-Maliki agreed to stepped down and be replaced with Haider al-Abadi. Today, the regime is in chaos and the system set up in Iraq by the US is collapsing when protesters loyal to popular Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr breached the heavily fortified Green Zone, home to government buildings and foreign embassies, and stormed the Iraqi parliament forcing MPs to flee and unleashing a state of emergency for all of Baghdad.

As can be seen in the photo (and live webcast below), hundreds of demonstrators occupied the country’s parliament. Video from inside the building showed jubilant crowds waving Iraqi flags and shouting “peaceful, peaceful.” Supporters of Sadr, whose fighters once controlled swaths of Baghdad and helped defend the capital from ISIS, have been demonstrating for weeks at the gates of the Green Zone, responding to their leader’s call to pressure the government to reform. Court Just Ruled that Oklahoma Is a Magical Land Where Forcing an Unconscious Person to Perform Oral Sex Isn’t Rape:

More and more people keep asking what in the hell is wrong with this country… everything gets more backwards and twisted and wrong by the day.

Here’s another great example of how screwed up everything has become. A higher court in Oklahoma just ruled that forcing an unconscious person to perform oral sex somehow magically isn’t sexual assault.

The case centers around a 17-year-old boy accused of taking advantage of a drunk 16-year-old girl who was later found to have a blood alcohol level of .341 — a dangerously high level that could easily land an adult in the hospital with alcohol poisoning, let alone a teenage girl. It’s the quintessential Lifetime Network movie-of-the-week. The last thing she remembers is passing out in the park. The boy’s DNA was found around her mouth and leg, so something obviously occurred and it isn’t the mystery crime of the century what.

Although he was charged with with rape and forcible oral sodomy, because the law in Oklahoma does not specifically state “an unconscious or intoxicated person cannot give consent” and Oklahoma rape statutes do not apply to a person’s mouth, the charges were thrown out. Continue reading »

Group seeks to create a 20-year mandatory minimum for cops who kill the unarmed regardless of why:

After a review of options by a panel of activists, a petition has been launched on Whitehouse.gov seeking to create a mandatory minimum sentence to be imposed on officers who kill unarmed citizens. The activists hope to create an incentive for officers to think before they act. Under this legislation, officers will not be able to use the excuse they were in fear for their lives when encountering a unarmed citizen. When officers carelessly destroy the lives of the unarmed, their life will also be destroyed.

Washington Launches Its Attack Against BRICS — Paul Craig Roberts:

Having removed the reformist President of Argentina, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, Washington is now disposing of the reformist President of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff.

Washington used a federal judge to order Argentina to sacrifice its debt restructuring program in order to pay US vulture funds the full value of defaulted Argentine bonds that the vulture funds had bought for a few pennies on the dollar. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jun/27/us-vulture-funds-argentina-bankruptcy These vultures were called “creditors” who had made “loans” regardless of the fact that they were not creditors and had made no loans. Let’s Stop Pretending Nuclear Power Is Commercially Viable:

First its new president, Jean-Bernard Levy, said French state utility EDF would delay a decision on its joint French-Chinese nuclear project in the UK, Hinkley Point. That was over a year ago. Then the CFO of EDF, Thomas Piquemal, quit reportedly because he opposed the project on financial grounds. That was a short time ago. Then after a slew of leaked memos, the French government just announced that EDF would be raising more money and the Hinkley decision would now come in September. Continue reading »

Apparently Ted Cruz Being Compared to Lucifer is an Insult to Satanists Everywhere:

United States — John Boehner rather startlingly characterized Ted Cruz as “Lucifer in the flesh” on Wednesday night, when he was asked for his opinion on the presidential hopeful. “I have Democrat friends and Republican friends,” Boehner added. “I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.”

But Boehner’s comparison of Cruz to Lucifer garnered plenty of criticism — though perhaps none as notable as from the Satanic Temple itself. Continue reading »

Why The Hard-Sell For The “Self-Driving” Car?:

google-car

This week, Ford and Volvo announced they are forming a “coaliton” – along with Google – to push not only for the development of self-driving cars, but for federal “action” (their term) to force-feed them to us.

Why?

The reasons are obvious: There’s money – and control – in it.

To understand what’s going on, to grok the tub-thumping for these things, it is first of all necessary to deconstruct the terminology. The cars are not “self-driving.” This implies independence.

And “self-driving” cars are all about dependence. Continue reading »

Italy’s Bank Bailout Fund Already One Third Empty After First Bank Rescue:

When one month ago, Italy was scrambling to unveil a “last resort” bad bank bailout fund (which eventually received the name Atlante, or Atlas, for the Titan god who was condemned to hold up the sky for eternity, only in this case he is holding up Italy’s €360 billion in bad loans), many wondered why the rush? While the explicit purpose of the fund was to allow Italy to bailout insolvent banks without the involvement of the state which is expressly prohibited by the Eurozone, the scramble appeared erratic almost frentic, and was one of the reasons why Italian bank stocks tumbled in early February.

The question: “Does someone know something?” Continue reading »

According to the CSM the names on the list were released last week by a group calling itself United Cyber Caliphate on the encrypted chat application Telegram, which IS supporters have used to recruit supporters and spread propaganda.  As Reuters adds, the group has urged followers of the militant group to target these 3,600 individuals and to facilitate that the hacker group has posted their personal information with the demand that “we want them #Dead.” Continue reading »

“Why Our Children Should Hate Us” – Read the Lance Simmens Article Banned by the Huffington Post:

Although Lance Simmens has been intimately involved in public life for several decades, you’ve probably never heard of him. As such, a little introduction is needed.

As mentioned, Lance Simmens’ career was spent in public policy. Specifically, he worked for two U.S. Presidents as well as a couple of senators and governors. Since retirement, he’s been a prolific writer, publishing 180 articles at the Huffington Post over the past 8 years. As such, it came as a great shock to him to discover that one of his recent articles was removed by the Huffington Post shortly after publication. It was the first article ever rejected by the online publication, and the unacceptable subject matter was nothing more than a positive review of the banned everywhere documentary VAXXED.

Here’s Lance Simmens describing the ordeal in a recent interview:

He mentions being locked out of his account, but it seems to have been reinstated since I came across a new piece published April 22 titled, Can Berners Become Trumpeters?

His VAXXED article; however, remains missing in action. As such, I bring you the banned Huffington Post article titled, Why Our Children Should Hate Us: Continue reading »

In Latest US-China Escalation, Beijing Denies US Aircraft Carrier Access To Hong Kong Port:

What until now was mostly effete jawboning over US complaints surrounding China’s territorial expansion ambitions in the South China Sea, including the occasional sailing of a US ship deep inside the disputed territorial waters (with zero impact especially now that China may soon start building maritime nuclear power plants in the area), changed dramatically earlier today when China officially denied a U.S. carrier strike group’s request for a port visit to Hong Kong next week.

Eurozone economy speeds up, reaches size it was back in 2008:

LONDON (AP) — It’s been a long and tortuous journey, but the eurozone economy is finally back to the size it was before the global financial crisis. Official figures released Friday show that the eurozone, which as a bloc is the world’s second-largest economy, accelerated unexpectedly at the start of the year to bring it back to the level it was before the recessions of the past eight years.

Eurostat, the European Union’s statistics agency, said the 19-country currency bloc expanded by a quarterly rate of 0.6 percent in the first three months of the year. The increase was double the previous quarter’s rate and ahead of market expectations for a more modest 0.4 percent. Continue reading »

Italy busts ISIS supporters cell mulling attacks on Vatican & Israeli embassy in Rome (VIDEO):

Italian authorities have arrested four suspects, who have seemingly had an “accentuated willingness” to carry out terrorist attacks in Rome and the Vatican. At least two other members of the Islamic State cell are on the run.

While there was no indication of an imminent attack, the group was allegedly ordered by Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) to carry out atrocities in Italy “with particular attention to the city of Rome” as well as the Vatican during the Jubilee Of Mercy year, Milan prosecutor Maurizio Romanelli told reporters.

Two of those detained included Abderrahim Moutaharrik, a kickboxing champion and his wife Salma Bencharki. The couple was arrested in the Lombardy province of Lecco as part of a joint investigation by Italy’s anti-terrorism agency, the General Investigations and Special Operations Division (DIGOS) and ROS, a special operations group that is part of Italy’s carabinieri police force. The U.S. Economy Officially Joins The Global Economic Slowdown – 1st Quarter GDP Comes In At 0.5%:

Even the government is admitting that the U.S. economy is slowing down.  On Thursday, we learned that U.S. GDP grew at just a 0.5 percent annual rate during the first quarter of 2016.  This was lower than analysts were anticipating, and it marks the third time in a row that the GDP number has declined compared to the previous quarter.  In other words, GDP growth has been declining for close to a year now, and this lines up perfectly with what I have been saying about how the second half of last year was a turning point that plunged us into the early chapters of a brand new economic crisis.  And as you will see below, the official GDP number is highly manipulated, and the way that it is calculated has been changed numerous times over the years.  So the bad number that is being reported by the government is actually the best case scenario. Speaking yesterday at the Senate Armed Services Committee, Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Gen. Joe Dunford confirmed that US troops in Iraq are “fighting and dying” in combat operations, confirming that the October 22 death of a Army sergeant was in combat.
