Denver breaks 103-year-old snowfall record (Ice Age Now, Feb 27, 2015):

Most snowfall ever for the month of February. Not just for the day, but for the entire month. More cold and snow are  on the way

Last night’s snowfall led to a record for the month of February with 22.2 inches, breaking the previous record set 103 years ago.

The National Weather Service announced that the new mark surpassed the previous record of 22.1 inches set in February of 1912.

The weather service recorded 3.3 inches at Denver International Airport on Thursday to break the record.

More cold and snow are on the way.
