The worst rainstorm to hit northern California in five years felled trees, knocked down power lines, and flooded out roads Thursday. Next stop, southern California.

  1. As one who lives here, the drama far outweighs the facts. We are getting much needed rains. Why they all had to make a huge drama about it is beyond me. Friends of mine from the coastal rain forest are still without power, but no word of that in the papers or media……..
    We need more rain, and I am glad to report we are getting far more over the next couple of weeks………for the first time, I am seeing rain storms that remind me of my youth……when we had real Winters. Yesterday, for the first time in years, I needed a fur lined leather coat when I went out.
    THANK goodness!
    It is nothing to cry about. We need months of this to restore our state.
