  1. Of course there are glitches. Establishing the idea on an employer based health care system…..now obsolete……was glitch number one. Why build a policy on a dying system? 96.5% of all new jobs in the US are part time and low wage so the employers don’t have to pay for health benefits or retirement.
No cost constraints on insurance costs, and private insurance companies have been provided with 40 million new captive customers.
Even better for the insurance corporations, the IRS has been given the job of collections…….at taxpayer expense. The IRS can destroy your life, the power they have is unbelievable, and now, they are inserted into everyone’s life. Can you imagine the abuse of power that will come out of this mess? They will be the folks monitoring the buying of health insurance of all US taxpayers, and they will establish and collect the fines.
People don’t go around uninsured out of choice, it is usually an economic constraint on their own end. Starting in 2014, they HAVE to buy insurance or get fined by the IRS.
2014, the fine will be less than $100.00 per person. By 2016, the fine will be $690.00 per person.
Just what the American people need. More expense to join with their falling wages.
It is an absolute boondoggle to enrich the corporations even more……at the expense of those least able to afford it.
Cloaked in the guise of “insurance for all”, it is a huge giveaway to the corporations. No single payer was even discussed. A total sellout of the people, once again.
