Lets get real here. Even if every citizen bought up big assault rifles, and all sorts of ammo, guns, etc., how are they to fight drones and SWAT teams. Do they think turning our streets into warzones are going to increase our quality of life? These people need to stop reacting and start thinking.
#1: We must get Citizens United repealed. It is currently on the 2014 ballot in 38 states, we need the other 12. If enough people raise enough hell, it can be repealed, regardless of what the naysayers say. We got prohibition repealed, it can be done. If it isn’t repealed, our voices will be drowned out with endless corporate money, national and international. It is the worst thing to ever come out of that court.
#2 Build new political parties, the two in power are actually one, they both work for the same corporate interests, not those of the nation or it’s people. Recruit some decent candidates of the people, not the corporations. What we are getting right now, from city official to the oval office are corporate stooges. We need some real leaders, not these polished corporate clones.
#3 People need to realize it takes more to be politically engaged than to show up every couple of years to vote. They need to get up, and get involved.
We don’t need more guns, we need some intelligence.
