Tokyo: Cherry Blossom At 235 Bq/Kg Of Cesium

235 Bq/Kg from cherry blossom in Tokyo (Fukushima Diary, April 15, 2012):


A Japanese radiation watcher measured 235±50.4 Bq/Kg of cesium from cherry blossom in Tokyo.
He states the cherry blossoms were dropped on asphalt, where is not thought to be hotspot. It doesn’t contain soil but a little bit of dust and leaves.
That’s where people view cherry blossoms and children play around.
